One button counts the variants missing an HS code, a US HTS code or a country of origin. The scan only reads your products.
Tick products and ask for suggestions. Claude, Anthropic's AI, proposes the 6-digit HS code and the US HTS code; the app then looks the US HTS code up in the official US tariff schedule (USITC).
Each suggestion shows its confidence, its reasoning and the official description. Nothing is written to Shopify until you press Apply.

They're suggestions, and the app tells you how sure it is. Each one has a confidence level (high, medium or low), two or three sentences of reasoning you can check, and the result of the lookup in the US schedule: verified with its official description and general duty rate, not in the schedule (with the valid codes under that heading to pick from), or couldn't check. When the listing leaves out a fact that decides the code, like the fabric, the suggestion shows the one question to check before applying.
You are. The app isn't a customs broker and its suggestions aren't customs advice. You approve every code before it's written, and you can type or import your own at any time. Check codes you're unsure of with your broker.
To make a suggestion, the product's title, type, vendor, tags, description and option names go to Anthropic's API. Only tariff codes go to the USITC API. The app reads products only: never orders, never customers. Details are in the privacy policy.
The 6-digit HS code is international, so every country you ship to can use it. The US HTS code is for US imports only; other countries' codes aren't suggested yet.
Yes. Export every variant to CSV, edit it in Excel or Google Sheets, and import it back. A blank cell leaves the value unchanged, and if any row has a problem nothing is written and every problem is listed by line.
